While Jayne is the featured Team member from Surrey, Terry Dowman has been selected as the unsung hero from Merthyr.
Terry's career with dogs spans well over 30 years - he has trained, taught, competed, judged, led clubs, formed alliances, rubbed elbows with Crufts champions, and can be found listed as a member of just about every top-regarded dog-related affiliation... but, you would never hear this unsolicited from Terry...
Terry is one of those Trainers, (et. al.) that doesn't boast of accomplishments, he just continues adding to them. If fact, Terry enjoys what he does so much, he doesn't stop working with dogs when he ends his work with dogs - he leaves Royvon to meet up with other dog people to start the process all over again.
Terry has visited the Surrey school, as members of the Surrey Team have visited the Merthyr school - to forever be learning and growing from each other, mentoring and contributing to the Team strengths. And, if you ask any Team member about Terry, their response will very likely be that not many dog people know much more than what you can learn from a single training session with Terry.
