My name is Hannah James and I am Financial Director of Royvon - based at our school in Esher, Surrey. I live here on site with my husband Darren James and our son Felix. I have been working for Royvon for the past 6 years based initially at our headquarters site in Merthyr, South Wales and now at Esher.
Before this I was in City Planning so it was a huge but exciting change for me to work for Royvon which I embraced with much enthusiasm due to my passion for animals - especially dogs. Living on site means I’m involved with our guests, teams and clients’ daily life here at Royvon. It’s great to see the changes in some of our guests when they have been in for training and to recognise so many regular faces when I take Felix down to see our four-legged friends.
My primary area of the business is Finance, although I am also part of the recruitment and training and reservations team. I have just passed my level one in the Pet Care Services accreditation and I am now working towards level 2. I regularly attend the Petcare conferences to keep up with date with industry changes and knowledge to ensure we are providing the best possible care for our guests and service for our clients. Our resident dog is our Alaskan Klee Klai called Fleur who is always sitting in our office watching Royvon life go by and of course playing as much as she can with our guests, mostly joined by Felix who is just as excited as us all to be here. |
As Royvon evolves with vigour, it’s so exciting to be a part of. I really enjoy our regular team social activities as its great for team building and gives the whole team a feeling of family, as that’s what we are here at Royvon one big family. I am proud that we are able to introduce innovations in dog training and boarding to keep us at the forefront of the industry.
