I first joined Royvon in 2002 until 2005 at the age of 16 moving on from working with Race horses to dogs doing NVQ Animal Care level 1 & 2. My job role at the beginning was Accommodations & Dog career, within these 3 years I was trained as a dog trainer & instructor & was then working full time until 2005, within this time I lived on site with Tegan (My Labrador) & Kevin. In 2005 I then left Royvon to work reptiles but this was not for me I much preferred dogs. I then started back at Royvon in 2009 has a full time dog trainer & instructor, It felt great to be back where I knew I belonged. Within the 3 years I've been back at Royvon I'm now Assistant Manageress of our Merthyr Tydfil centre in South Wales. I live on site of the centre with my 5 dogs & fiancé Kevin who also works at Royvon. I truly enjoy my work which does not feel like a job, It's a passion of which I've always wanted to do since a young age, I think with my parents not allowing me a dog when I was younger it made me wanting to be with dogs more.

| Outside of Royvon a lot of my free time is based around my 5 fur friends or the “new” me enjoying & getting fit & healthy with “Zumba”. Them being my best friend & life coach Tegan (Yellow Labrador), Frankie (Chocolate Labrador), Buddy & Flossika ( Sibling Cocker Spaniels) & my young teenager Barley (Border Collie) – I spend a lot of time with including hours of endless walks, swimming together in summer or just cwtched up of the sofa enjoying a good movie. The only time when I’m not with them is when I go away on holiday, I pine for them more than they do me as they are enjoying “Play all day & the dog hotel” at Royvon. In the futu re I would love to be a proud owner of my own French Bulldog – It’s just that little spark about them that makes them very different from other breeds. I have no typical breed which I find my favourite, there are so many that I’d love to own. |

There are many things I'd like about my job from meeting new people, working with so many fantastic guests, best part being I'm doing what I've always wanted to do with the best company possible. I've gained many qualifications over the years covering NVQ's in Animal Care, Customer Service, & retail at all Levels. I'm also currently covering Leadership & Management. I've completed first aid & Pet care Technician.
My time at Royvon I'm hoping it will be for many years to come, I work with a well dedicated brilliant team and fantastic animals!
