Royvon Beats Industry's Best
Royvon was entered into the highly acclaimed"Canmol Wales marketing awards", and was invited to attend an exclusive ceremony at Cardiff's Radisson Blu hotel.
The chartered institute for marketing shortlisted 15 Welsh companies for their accredited Canmol awards, including South Wales Police, BBC Cymru Wales, Capital Radio, The Welsh Assembly for Wales and of course, our very own Royvon Dog Boarding & Training Kennels.

With this type of opposition, we knew things were going to be tough. But we had no need to worry! Against all this competition, we came out top and were awarded the "Canmol Best of Welsh Marketing 2011".
This was in recognition of the company's dynamic use of Facebook to communicate with our customers and prospective clients, and to connect with users of our facilities on a regular basis, and doing this using a small budget and effectively using resources available. |

The judges commented “Royvon's entry was unique with no big marketing budgets. The transparency of the care they give their guests is absolute peace of mind to their owners”
Dr Jonathan Deacon, of Newport Business School and Chair of the Wales Board of the Institute said, “As ever, judging the entries was a difficult task, showing the wealth of talent within the industry in Wales, but the winners stood out in particular through highlighting strategic thinking and achieving excellent results.”
To say we were pleased with this astounding achievement is an understatement. |
Managing director, Darren James, stated - "we were so proud to be a part of the Canmol awards but to win was astounding, but to then be announced as winners over all, which we then got entered into national marketing awards was beyond any of our wildest expectations. The amount of pride and honour we feel over this procurement is amazing.
Royvon director and manager of the company's Merthyr Tydfil Centre, Sarah Draper, commented "I am really thrilled to receive this award as we have always strived to be innovative in our approach to marketing and communicating with our customers. Our Facebook pages, which highlight the wide range of boarding and training work we carry out daily in Merthyr and Esher, require a great deal of input of photos and video to keep up to date. The feedback we get from customers and dog owners, tells us that it is a hugely popular feature allowing people to keep in touch with pets in our care whilst at the same time demonstrating to prospective customers the high standards we maintain."
Continuing on from our fantastic win, we are now on our way to the next stage. We are proud to announce we will be representing both Royvon and Wales in the national competition for the "UK Marketing Excellence Award" later this year. We hope to gain continuous success and thank our team for their tremendous efforts which is greatly appreciated.
